How To Live A Life Of Grace

Leon Fontaine Devoted

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8

As believers, we function on two forces at the same time. One is our own “natural”  energy, and the other is God’s “supernatural” power.

The problem is that many of us live in the natural, work in the natural, and get wiped out in the natural. We’re trying hard to make our relationships, businesses and health work only on our own strength, and then we pray for miracles, hoping that if we bug and plead with God enough, he’ll do something.

We’re going about it the wrong way. As believers, we need to use both our natural skills and abilities at the same time as the supernatural power and energy of God’s grace.

How? Well, God’s grace works in your life when you believe that Jesus qualified you to access it—when you believe that Jesus gives you the right to have his power go to work in your life. All you need to do is believe and then step out in faith, trusting that he’s empowering you all the way.

Every morning, remind yourself that you have his power within you. You see, there is no limit to the places you can go with God. He’s already promised you every good thing, and he’s encouraging you through his Word. His grace, power, ability, blessings, promises, favour and provision are free gifts he’s given to you, as a believer.

So, when you’re going about your everyday life, don’t just try to do everything on your own. Live a life of grace by becoming more aware of God’s supernatural ability in your life.
