Grow and Grow Again

March 2, 2022

And it is impossible to please God without faith. Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)

When you’ve reached a level of success in your finances, relationships or business, eventually you will become dissatisfied with where you are. This is normal. Don’t ignore this feeling. You will be compelled to move on in faith because God has more for you.

When this happens, continue to serve God, learn His ways, believe for increase and take action—and you will go to a new level. But once you reach this new level of success, remember that eventually it will be time to move on again. You may pause there to enjoy it for a while and celebrate your accomplishments. But without faith, it’s impossible to please God, so you can’t stay there forever (Hebrews 11:6).

Living in this constant cycle of being compelled to grow, growing, exceeding and then starting all over again is an exciting, passion-filled way to live. As you live this way, keep in mind that you don’t always have to have all the details worked out before you get moving. When Peter stepped out of the boat, he didn’t pause to wonder if he should make a run for it or tread lightly and look for rocks to step on. He just trusted Jesus and stepped out of his comfort zone.

God can’t wait to help you get to a new level. You can create plans and systems to get you to your goals, but always remember that when you step out in faith—trusting Jesus—He causes gifts and abilities to come forward in you. He will help you to realize all the potential He has placed within you.
