He Will Never Steer You Wrong

For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship)… Ephesians 2:10 (AMPC)

Your arrival on this planet was no accident. Even if you felt rejected and unwanted as a child, the fact remains that God is all-knowing and He knew you were coming.

God carefully formed you inside your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). He masterfully designed your natural gifts and abilities. The fact that you’re introverted or extroverted is no accident, and He’s not surprised by the things you love or hate to do. Although you’ll always be growing and developing in life, the building blocks of who you are were designed on purpose!

God also preplanned a great life for you. The Amplified version of Ephesians 2:10 goes on to say that God preplanned good works for you to do and He prearranged a good life for you to live. But you aren’t forced to live the life God planned for you. He’s not controlling or manipulative. He simply laid out a best-case scenario for you that you can choose to take.

You can choose to handle life on your own. You can try to control everything, but you’ll be frustrated. Besides, you would never be able to create a life that’s more amazing than the one God has for you. First Corinthians 2:9 (NLT) says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”

As you go about each day, tune into God’s presence. Ask for His input on your decisions. He’s the biggest expert on you, so you can trust that His direction will never steer you wrong.
