Jesus Love You. Period.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16 (KJV)

If you want to know what God is like, just look at Jesus. Jesus didn’t condemn people when they did wrong. He never said, “I can’t heal you because you deserve this sickness considering what you’ve done.” Jesus loved people. Period. And He loves you. In Him, you have the right to health, prosperity, joy, peace and so much more.

Sometimes we face consequences for our actions, but we can’t point the finger at God. For example, if you jump off of a building, it isn’t God who will break your legs—gravity will. See, your heavenly Father loves you and wants the best for you.

Our verse today says we can approach our Father God boldly. Our God is loving, approachable and caring. If we see Him this way, we become more like Him. In the same way, if we see Him as angry, judgmental and vindictive, we will take on those negative characteristics and chase people away from having a relationship with Him.

This is why it’s important that we get into God’s Word and get to know His true character. As you grow in your relationship with God and become more like Him, the more people will want to be around you. They will be attracted to Jesus in you and you’ll easily embrace a way of life where you’re led naturally by Holy Spirit to reach the people in your world.

Today, think about what Jesus was like. Is that how you see God? Meditate on Jesus’ loving, approachable, forgiving and accepting nature and let it change how you view your heavenly Father.
