Before you believe God for any of His promises, there's one belief you need to establish first. This truth is the foundation for believing for great relationships, financial breakthrough or supernatural healing.
You need to confess and believe that you are loved.
Understanding God's love for you is powerful. Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT) says, “With his love, he will calm all your fears,” and 1 John 4:18 (NLT) adds that “perfect love expels all fear.” When you really believe that God loves you, there's no fear of lack or abandonment. You're able to rise up in faith, knowing that if Jesus loves you so much that He went to the cross for you, there's nothing else He wouldn't do for you (Romans 8:32).
As you experience this incredible love, it stabilizes every area of your life and begins to move you in the right direction. It satisfies your deepest longing and gives you the ability to love those around you. You'll start to look for the good in people instead of finding every flaw. You'll develop more joy, peace, kindness and every other fruit of the Spirit. As the presence of God goes to work in you, you'll be someone others love to be around, because they'll sense the love of Jesus in you.
Go to bed each night and confess out loud that God loves you. Wake up in the morning and remind yourself that you're loved. Get this one powerful belief firmly planted inside you: God loves me unconditionally. Nothing can come between Him and me.
