He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom withthe blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us,along with all wisdom and understanding. Ephesians 1:7–8 (NLT)
When Jesus died on thecross, He paid the price for the sins of all of mankind—past, present and future.
As believers, we are completely and abundantly free in our relationshipwith God. “He thought of everything, provided for everything we couldpossibly need, letting us in on theplans he took such delight inmaking. He set it all out before usin Christ, a long-range plan inwhich everything would be broughttogether and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth” (Ephesians1:7–10, MSG).
Jesus is, and always has been, the answer. Religion has neverworked. Trusting in Jesus makes it possible for us to have a relationship withGod, and out of that relationship flows everything we need. It really is allabout relationship. Religious, judgmental thinking has no place in a believer’slife.
God loves every personcompletely—even if they’re struggling with bad habits and wrong behaviour.Remember the acceptance and love He has for each person in your world and helpto show them that love. They don’t need to be shamed; they need to know about theunconditional, loving relationship they can have through Jesus.
Only Jesus’ love cangive them the power to lasting change. Only He can empower them to grow and getstronger and better with every passing year. God wants every person on thisplanet to begin a relationship with Him. Whatcan you do this week to show someone how much God loves them?
