Your heart is like your autopilot in life.
Let’s say you’re in a plane using the autopilot. You’re heading to New York, but you decide you want to go to Washington instead. I’m not sure this is even possible, but if you were to grab the controls of that plane to try to make it go toward Washington, you’d have to fight the autopilot all the way. You might be able to change the direction as long as you hold the controls, but as soon as you let go, it would revert right back toward New York.
People do the same thing in their lives all the time, and it gets really tiring. They try to go a different direction in life, but don’t reset their autopilot. Because their hearts are set on a certain direction, every time they relax a bit, their life begins to head right back into the same old rut.
Your heart is powerful. It’s the part of you that holds your deepest beliefs, and it determines the direction of your life.
You can change your life by dealing with the misbeliefs of your heart. You see, God designed you in a phenomenal way. By meditating on His promises, you can program a new direction into your heart and, effortlessly, it will begin to take you where you really want to go.
With God, your best life is ahead of you!
