“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” Luke 11:9 (NKJV)
Some people don’t experience an amazing life with God because they don’t feel a connection with Him.
They may know about Him, but they don’t know Him on a personal level. They want to sense His presence in their everyday lives, but it seems like He’s silent. The thing is, God hasn’t gone anywhere. The signal is always being sent, but they’re not receiving it.
Luke 11:9–10 tells us how to make sure we always receive His signal: Ask.
Truth isn’t complicated. If you want to experience more of God in your life, ask. If you want to hear what He’s saying to you as you read the Word, ask.
In Matthew 21:21 (NKJV), Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ it will be done.” When we ask for things that align with God’s Word, believing that we will get our answer, nothing is impossible!
God’s love for you is complete, abundant and unconditional. His plans for you are unquestionably perfect. His promises are there for every area of your life, and in Jesus, they’re all yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20).
When you feel alone or things get tough, ask God to give you the strength and direction you need. He’s just waiting to pour into your life!
