SPEAK TO DEAD DREAMS

"This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again." Ezekiel 37:9 (NLT)

A dream will not come to pass until it is spoken out loud.

God once took the prophet Ezekiel to a valley filled with the bones of a dead army and asked him, "Can these bones live?" Ezekiel's response was, "Only You know the answer to that, God!" But God turned it back on Ezekiel and said, "You speak to these bones. Tell them to listen to the Word of the Lord."

So Ezekiel commanded the bones to live, and something miraculous happened. All across the valley, there was a cacophony of noise as skeletons came together and grew muscles and flesh. Then God told Ezekiel to speak breath into these bodies—and an entire army came to life.

In the same way, you and I can declare life over dead dreams. You can prophesy the Word over your future and say, "I walk in the blessing and protection of God. With long life He satisfies me, and His supernatural favour is making a way!"

You see, if you don't speak the Word, you're accepting someone else's dream. Is it a hopeless picture painted by the news? Is it a negative outlook based on the limiting words someone once said about you? Whose fears are you listening to? Those are not the dreams God has for you!

Life and death are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). The words we speak will not come back void, but accomplish what they are sent out to do (Isaiah 55:11). If you have a dream you've given up for dead, it's time to speak life back into those bones!
