"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV)
Yesterday we saw how crucial your words are to seeing a dream come to pass. But did you know your words can also inspire others around you to dream? When you move forward, others are motivated to take action.
This happened with David. As he ran at Goliath, it stirred up courage in the hearts of the Israelite soldiers. One teenaged boy declared a dream of victory, and he brought an entire army to life. After Goliath was killed, they went on to successfully drive out the Philistines.
You may think, "That's great, but I'm not like David." Listen, David was not a perfect man. Take a look at his story and you'll see he messed up many times. But he had a courage that refused to be silenced or counted out, and he was called a man after God's own heart.
Begin declaring the dreams God has for you in His Word. It doesn't have to be fancy or complicated. Just like God told the prophet Ezekiel what to say in order to awaken a valley of bones, you have been given God's Word. Simply begin to speak it. As you do, those words cannot return empty.
God's dreams are bigger and better than you can imagine. Let His promises awaken new dreams in you—a vision of growing, giving, serving, raising an amazing family and advancing the Kingdom. You can paint a new picture in your heart and in the hearts of others. Who can you inspire to come along with you?
