If you’re going through something difficult in your life, you need to know that God is aware of every storm you face. He’s not stumped by the circumstances that come your way. He even knew the bad decisions you would make ahead of time and prepared a way of escape—a way to get you back on track.
God will never force you to take His routes. You can do anything you want, but He has already prepared the best possible plans for you in every area.
When I’m travelling somewhere on business, someone prepares my travel itinerary. They make sure a ride to the airport is arranged and my tickets are booked. When I arrive, I have a ride from the airport to the hotel. They’ve planned enough time for me to get prepared for my meetings or speaking engagement. Everything is planned out seamlessly.
I have the freedom to go against what’s been planned for me. I could hop on a different plane and find my own hotel, but why would I? I trust the plans that have been made for me will work out much better.
You can prepare yourself for your future, but God knows your future. There’s no way that you could create the kind of amazing “coincidences” God can set up for you. He loves you so much and wants to guide you step by step. Stay in touch with Him as you go about each day. Even if it feels as if there is no way through what you’re facing, you can be confident that He has made a way.
