For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of righteousness, for all who receive it will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17 (NLT)
Once you have given your life to Jesus, you have direct access to God. You can go to Him anytime—Jesus made this possible for you! Do you take advantage of it?
Hebrews 10:19-22 says “So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into ‘the Holy Place.’ Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The “curtain” into God’s presence is his body. So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word [emphasis mine]” (MSG).
Your identity is crucial. If you’ve been trained that you are nothing, stupid and you are never going to make it, you can reject that identity and adopt the one that Jesus gained for you by dying on the cross.
Because of Jesus’ sacrifice, you are no longer a sinner—so stop looking at yourself that way. He did not give everything so that you can live a defeated life. He has made it possible for you to reign in life as a servant king with complete access to God.
You are accepted—completely. You are loved—passionately. Take advantage of the access you have to God today.
