Miracle Channel Welcomes Jeremy Prest as New Chief Executive Officer

[Winnipeg, MB] - Miracle Channel, Canada’s original Christian television station, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeremy Prest as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Following the unexpected passing of Leon Fontaine in November 2022, Prest succeeded him and assumed responsibilities on August 14, 2023.

With 15 years of experience in television production and eight years as a pastor at Springs Church, Prest brings a wealth of leadership and ministry experience to Miracle Channel.

“We're so grateful for the years we had under Leon Fontaine's leadership,” said Daniel Johnston, Chairman of the Board. “Now the time has come to build on his legacy and step into the new season God has for us. Jeremy carries the same heart and vision Leon did for reaching Canada. I have complete confidence in his ability to lead Miracle Channel forward.”

“When I think of this nation, I think of a great country,” said Prest. “With something like the Miracle Channel, we have the ability to change the direction of this nation.”

Prest’s appointment comes at a crucial time for Miracle Channel, as the organization continues to expand the distribution of its second television channel, Corco, across Canada.

Since its beginnings as a small signal in Lethbridge, Alberta in 1996, Miracle Channel has grown into a TV station with multiple outreaches bringing hope to Canada and people around the world. Through its on-air programs, streaming service, podcasts, devotionals and other online content, Miracle Channel’s mission is to give every person in Canada the chance to hear the truth about Jesus.
