If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ.

The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day. 

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 

"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."

"This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, O breath, from the four winds! Breathe into these dead bodies so they may live again."

[David] picked up five smooth stones from a stream and put them into his shepherd’s bag. Then, armed only with his shepherd’s staff and sling, he started across the valley to fight the Philistine. 

Moreover David said, "The Lord, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine." 

"Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands."

Goliath stood and shouted a taunt across to the Israelites. "Why are you all coming out fight?" he called. "I am the Philistine champion, but you are only the servants of Saul… I defy the armies of Israel today! Send a man who will fight me!" When Saul and the Israelites heard this, they were terrified and deeply shaken.

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy." 

Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body. Proverbs 4:20–22 (NLT) 

“I tell you the truth, whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.”

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.

If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person’s religion is worthless.

For only we who believe can enter his rest.

Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.

And be constantly renewed in the spirit of your mind [having a fresh mental and spiritual attitude].

Bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
