Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God.

In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.

Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.

Stand therefore…having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life... Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy. 

As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.

"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." 

Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory.

"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples."

May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. 

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

"For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 

Come after Me [as disciples—letting Me be your Guide], follow Me…

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.”

“The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep... The hired hand runs away because he’s working only for the money and doesn’t really care about the sheep.”

Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else.

“For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
