“Whoever is the least among you is the greatest.”

“For God so loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

“This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."

And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.

Yet it was not I but God who was working through me by his grace.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

For the word of God is alive and powerful.

Now nothing they have imagined they can do will be impossible for them.

“However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.”

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified [declared free of the guilt of sin]; and those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity.]

Just as it is written…”FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE ARE REGARDED AS SHEEP FOR THE SLAUGHTER.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loves us [so much that He died for us].

…take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

“So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

For what great nation has a god as near to them as the Lord our God is near to us whenever we call on him?

The Lord has given them special skills as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple, and scarlet thread on fine linen cloth, and weavers. They excel as craftsmen and as designers.

The Lord will make you the head (leader) and not the tail (follower); and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen and pay attention to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I am commanding you today, to observe them carefully.
